If you’re like me, you like to have a great skiing or snowboarding. I’m more into snowboarding, and as well some other people, I like going to places where there are fewer people, and the site is less commercial. Among the few places remaining in this way, you can count on the ski and snowboarding resorts in Alaska. Most people do not think of going to Alaska because there are so many ski resorts in North America, why travel so far? That leaves you with open slopes and half empty lift lines.
Let’s take a quick look at some of the best of Alaska ski snowboard or resources:
1. Moose Mountain, Alaska ski resort – Moose Mountain is 1250 meters of vertical feet and has two slopes for beginners and advanced wastewater. Due to the exposure of South Mountain, the area is protected from the prevailing northeast trade winds, and thus receives hours of sun each day. This makes the mountain 20-30 degrees warmer than the neighboring city.
